Above are the two huge Goliaths who own a lot of dating apps.
Why dating apps are Not as Safe as they Appear to Be
So what happens to online dating?
When people are broken inside they tend to join a dating app mostly where other broken people are to. A lot of these broken down people tend to drink do drugs or gamble and usually get attached to narcissists, abusers, child offenders, rapists, criminals, fraudsters, Gay bashing, murders, racism, trolls, bullies, stalkers, abusive people, and manipulators etc... Can you really trusts anyone on these apps NEVER.
The dating apps have piggybacked off the form of gambling websites by selling package plans which are like tokens/credits that are earthier converted into virtual gifts or cash or points etc... Meet Group & Match Group are banking millions of dollars off of broken down individuals who tend to spend hundreds to thousands of dollars earthier to message someone or have special privileges or have there nick name highlighted or be noticed and ranked or put on trending or be sponsored by the app for live streaming etc....
This social network app myYearbook now known as Meetme says it screens for criminals BUT one member got VIP status and supposedly he got paid 50,000$ dollars in cash and the bonus, Meetme "the meet group" sponsored an event with this man who had just gotten out of jail as a sex offender.

They even have paid advertising in Adsense in the app sponsored by Google.

They also have it where you can receive FREE tokens/credits but you must download earthier a Bingo or Slot machine app, this is awful it can easily get people addicted to gambling.

Quote:Deonte Fisher, a 26-year-old from the suburbs of Chicago, rose quickly this year to become a VIP streamer on MeetMe, an app that combines dating with live-streaming. Fisher amassed around $50,000 worth of virtual “diamonds,” according to a screen image, which are tokens that streamers can earn from virtual gifts sent by users. By this month, he was the app’s 58th most popular streamer, with around 16,000 fans, and posted photos of himself attending company-sponsored events.
But Fisher’s success on MeetMe, where he was known as “Yogi Bear,” came within weeks of his release from prison in February after being convicted of a sex offense involving a minor — a felony that should have prevented him from being on the app, according to MeetMe’s website. Fisher appears in the Illinois sex offender database, where it says he molested a 15-year-old when he was 20.
