Desmondchilling out while winter surfing in Nova Scotia.

#1
Build sandcastles, fly kites, take a surfing lesson, play in the waves, or just walk barefoot in the sand. We know it can be hard to live in the moment – but a beach sure helps.

Unwind in the rolling waves and breathe in the salty air along our 7,600 kilometres of seacoast. Explore, play, or simply relax on a warm sandy beach with a good book.

Surfing

The large storm-fed swells that roll in from the Atlantic Ocean and our long sandy beaches combine to attract surfers from around the world. Fall may be the favoured season to jump in the waves, but more and more people are chilling out while winter surfing in Nova Scotia.
